Hey, Killa.

Ready to cancel your pest services? Now that you’ve got the goods, here’s what you should know:

  • Spray around tick habitats (leaf litter, damp, shady areas) to reduce the tick populations around your yard and outdoor living spaces.

    • Use the mist setting on the sprayer to cover desired area.

    • Avoid spraying just before or after rain, and during windy conditions.

    • Use March - October to control active populations. Use in winter to prevent emergence in Spring. Research shows Balsam Fir oil can kill over-wintering ticks in frozen ground.

  • • Is it ok to spray unfinished / finished wood, siding and stone?

Yes! Product is both oil and water soluble. Apply product evenly and wipe dry any standing liquid (on structures). For wood with dark stains, we recommend doing a patch test first.

    • How long does it take to kill Ticks?

Research shows that the compunds in Balsam Fir and Cedar can take anywhere from one hour to one week to kill a tick. From our own testing on the deer and dog tick, ticks were dead ranging from one minute to one hour.

  • Balsam Fir hydrosol, Balsam Fir essential oil, Eastern Cedar hydrosol, Eastern Cedar essential oil, Plant glycerin, Baobob oil, water.
